The Sound Clouds are handmade in Sweden and have been tested* by Sweden’s Research Institutes (Ri.se). FAQ
How many absorbers should I buy?
How many sound panels/Sound Clouds are needed to improve the acoustic environment in the intended room depends on several factors. Put simply, the size of the room matters, as does whether there are already existing materials that absorb some sound, such as rugs, curtains, bookcases, etc.
As a basic package, we recommend purchasing 3–4 sound panels or 2–3 Sound Clouds to achieve good sound absorption in most normal-sized rooms. You can, of course, always add more absorbers if the room requires it.
Where and how should I mount the absorbers?
The absorbers are very easy to install and can be attached with nails to any wall. Create your own look through your choice of colour and pattern, or take a look at one of our inspiration images. The choice is yours!
What does it mean that your products are A-rated?
In spring 2021, we tested our sound panels at Sweden’s Research Institutes (Ri.se). The test conducted is called “Determination of sound absorption coefficients in a reverberation room according to ISO 354 and ISO 11654”. In the test, which measures the product’s ability to absorb sound, our absorbers received classification A (scale A–E). This means that Poasana’s absorbers offer the most effective sound absorption.
